Taking general French courses with the summer program offers many advantages for French language learners, whether they are beginners or already initiated. Lasting 3 months (12 weeks), this summer course is designed to meet the specific needs of students and help them quickly achieve their goals.
Summer courses at CCFS promote the acquisition of new linguistic foundations, including an in-depth exploration of grammar, vocabulary, and conjugation. These courses provide a solid foundation, allowing students to express themselves confidently orally and in writing. Summer courses are also designed to strengthen and refine existing language skills. Students have the opportunity to work on the five essential language skills: speaking, understanding, reading, writing, and interacting. General and intensive French courses place a strong emphasis on improving oral and written comprehension. Students practice listening to a variety of French content, from conversations to authentic audio recordings. Similarly, reading diverse texts helps refine their written comprehension. The goal is to make students more comfortable communicating in French. Summer courses aim to strengthen students’ ability to express themselves fluently in French through conversation practice, discussions on various topics, and writing. Students learn to express themselves coherently and convey their ideas with ease. In addition to linguistic aspects, the summer courses offered by CCFS allow students to explore topics related to French culture and society. Students discover the richness of French cultural heritage, from traditions to the arts, and history. In addition, these courses address topics relevant to higher education, which is particularly beneficial for international students preparing for their future studies in France.
Summer monthly courses are therefore a valuable opportunity for learners of all levels. They offer a solid foundation for beginners and strengthen the skills of intermediate and advanced students. These courses are designed to improve French proficiency at all levels, both orally and in writing, while exploring French culture. For those looking to perfect their French, prepare for higher education in France, or simply have an enriching summer experience, summer French courses are an option to consider.
