The CCFS intensive semester French course offers many advantages for learners wishing to improve their general French level and acquire essential language skills. These programs combine language courses and phonetics lab courses for a complete, results-oriented learning experience.
An intensive French course emphasizes language immersion, helping learners progress quickly. They are exposed to the language daily, which promotes improvement in their comprehension, speaking, and writing. This semester-long program thoroughly covers grammar, vocabulary, and conjugation, providing a solid foundation for expressing oneself and communicating in French. International students acquire the necessary tools during this period to construct correct and precise sentences. Phonetics is also crucial for correct pronunciation and better oral comprehension of French; the phonetics courses offered by CCFS help students perfect their accent and understand the nuances of pronunciation. The skills acquired in this intensive semester French course are applicable to various contexts, whether for informal conversations, professional interactions, or travel in France. This offers valuable versatility in the use of the language, including from an academic and professional perspective. Improving French level and language skills is indeed a considerable asset for students and professionals seeking to pursue higher education in France or to work in environments where French is required.
Program Information:
Students’ attention is drawn to the significant volume of hours (25 hours per week over 12 weeks). This course therefore requires great availability and strong commitment, like all intensive programs.
Students wishing to deepen their written and oral skills at a less intensive weekly pace can opt for general French courses in their annual formats. Depending on the level and commitment of the students, they allow validation of up to 2 complete levels of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) in 24 weeks, at a preferential price.
