The semester course in general French offers many advantages for international students seeking to improve their mastery of the French language. These programs are designed to consolidate learners' linguistic foundations and promote the acquisition of new skills in French.
The main objective of a general French course at CCFS is to raise the level of French of those enrolled, regardless of their level. Whether you are a beginner or intermediate, these courses are designed to help you progress quickly and reach a more advanced level according to the CEFR criteria. The reinforced courses emphasize the acquisition of solid foundations in grammar, vocabulary and conjugation. This allows learners to express themselves more accurately and fluently, both orally and in writing. Oral communication is essential for interacting with native speakers or French-speaking business partners. This course therefore offers phonetics courses in the laboratory which reinforce pronunciation and fluency of speech. The semester course in general French at CCFS also provides essential tools for writing correctly in French. Students learn to compose clear and coherent texts, which is valuable in both academic and professional contexts. Phonetics courses are an important component of the course as they help learners perfect their pronunciation, understand the sounds of French and improve their oral comprehension. The semester course in general French may include an online written and oral expression option (CL4) to develop students’ written and oral skills. The semester course in general French is a real preparation for future opportunities, whether it is to pursue higher education in France, jobs requiring proficiency in French or travel to French-speaking countries. By strengthening their French skills, learners gain self-confidence, which is essential for interacting with native speakers and expressing themselves more fluently and convincingly.
